A new website for the Hydra swim team
I created a website for my swim team about one and a half year ago, and now it was time for a new version, since I never considered the old design to be top notch. Now I've just launched the new version and might I say: it looks great! Take a look yourself at www.zvhydra.nl
I tried to make the new website as clear as possible and add some nifty features and Web 2.0 elements. I kept the design as clear as possible, light and fresh and easy to read. I also added a sidebar on the right with some quick links to the latest picture album and a small list of popular pages.
And with my renewed Javascript skills I added a horizontal menu with drop down functionality, and made a script which rotates the header image every so many seconds. Oh; and did you notice the wet floor effect on the image in the sidebar. Ain't it fancy?
